New Editorial Illustrations: Print and Digital Publication

Updated: 7 days ago

I'm excited to announce that I am officially a published illustrator - in digital form and upcoming in print! I have branched out into editorial illustration recently, and it has been a great experience. Read more to view some of my upcoming projects for publication.

I spent the past few months working with a very kind indie author, Jacob Sparks, on his book of personal short stories. The goal for this project was to create minimalist line art illustrations that captured the message of each narrative. Each illustration detailed a scene in the corresponding short story, coming to a total of over 20 illustrations in the book.

Sparks' book, True Short Stories You'll Love, was published in 2025.

Editorial Illustration: Digital

Over the past few months, I've also worked alongside the illustration and design team at Trill Mag, a Gen-Z digital culture magazine. During this time, I've explored my abilities not only with illustration but also design and collage. I've had the wonderful opportunity to work alongside editors, writers, and other illustrators throughout these projects.

As a solo freelancer, I often miss working with a team and wish to engage more with my community. This has been a very fulfilling experience, both in learning more about digital publication and in connecting with like-minded creatives.

You can find my first article published with Trill Mag here.

Editorial Illustration: Additional Upcoming Projects

In addition to these new published works, I've expanded my reach to do even more editorial work in the future. Currently, I am working with another published author and hope to continue working in this area in the future.
